Temperance 2001, Bronze, 32", Edition 10 The delightful, almost casual, Temperance surprises us with her strong inner resolve. This very realistic figure makes an ideal fountain piece with water spurting up onto the woman’s hands from below. The work indicates a turning point in the sculptor’s career from subjects with extended outward motion to the more internal domain represented by this figure .
